Print file preparation

Don’t be afraid when you come across many sophisticated words and letter combinations which will make you wonder whether you are transferred to some weird home page. Technical lexicon of graphic arts is our daily life, therefore we will not force our clients to understand and learn it. We are always ready to provide professional advice, give rational suggestions, and revise and improve received layouts in accordance with the technical requirements of the printing. Do not hesitate to ask and re-ask – the result is all that matters!

If you are an experienced specialist in our field, we will just repeat some basic requirements for elaboration of layouts:
• we accept EPS or PDF format in printing quality
• each page should be on separate sheet
• cropping over-measures should be 5 mm to all sides
• crop marks should be indicated
• black texts should contain ONLY 100% black color
• fonts should be converted to outlines
• only CMYK and/or PANTONE colors may be used
• images included in layouts should be elaborated as follows:
– CMYK, Grayscale or Bitmap color models
– only TIFF (without LZW compression!) and EPS files can be used
– resolution for all formats up to A3 should be at least 300 dpi
– if small size texts, logos and other small-scale details are prepared in Photoshop format, submitter is responsible for the quality of the work.
• overall colour coverage (C+M+Y+K percentage sum) should not exceed 300%
• layout should be submitted together with printout (BW or coloured) and it should contain relevant specifications
